Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vero (the "Service"), operated at onvero.io. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and a professional in the multifamily real estate industry to submit reviews. To review, you sign in with LinkedIn; you authorize us to receive your name, email, and profile details from LinkedIn for verification. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your information accurate.
2. Reviews & your content
You may submit reviews, ratings, and other content ("User Content") only about vendors you have genuine, first-hand experience with. You represent that your User Content is truthful, your own honest opinion, and not misleading, defamatory, or submitted on behalf of a competitor or the vendor itself. You grant Vero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service. We may moderate, decline, or remove content that violates these Terms, and we are not obligated to publish any submission.
3. Grades
Vendor grades are computed automatically from verified, approved operator reviews using our published methodology. Grades reflect the aggregated opinions of reviewers, are provided "as is," and are not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee. Paying for a Premium listing does not affect a vendor's grade.
4. Agency listings & claims
Vero may publish listings for service providers based on publicly available information. An authorized representative may claim a listing by verifying ownership. Claiming does not entitle you to remove honest reviews or alter your grade. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you add to a claimed listing.
5. Premium subscriptions & billing
Premium listings are sold as recurring subscriptions billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees (e.g., $49/month founder pricing) recur automatically until cancelled and are stated at checkout. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Applicable taxes may be added.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post false, fraudulent, or paid-for reviews; scrape or harvest data; attempt to manipulate grades; impersonate others; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or interfere with the Service's operation or security.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Vero or its licensors. You retain ownership of your User Content subject to the license in Section 2.
8. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Reviews and grades are user-generated opinions; Vero does not independently verify every claim and is not responsible for interactions, agreements, or outcomes between operators and vendors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vero will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Vero harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
